The Bujinkan Piedmont Dojo is located in Durham, NC and operates under the guidance of the Bujinkan Tohoku Dojo and the Bujinkan Hombu Dojo. The goal of training is the exploration of the martial arts of the international Bujinkan Dojo as taught in Japan. Training is open to those 18 years of age and older who agree to follow the Bujinkan Dojo Guidelines for Participation. Those wishing to train with the group may be required to undergo a North Carolina state background check. Although the primary focus of training is on the basics of taijutsu and classes are geared towards those beginning their Bujinkan journey, all are welcome. Higher grades in attendance should not be surprised if they are asked to demonstrate or lead parts of training. Current Bujinkan members are required to have their instructors permission prior to attending training. The Bujinkan Piedmont Dojo is led by David Gadoury who has been training in the Bujinkan arts since 1996 and currently holds the rank of yondan.
